ABOUT N TRANCE
Since 1990, Manchester, England-based techno duo N-Trance, composed of Kevin O'Toole
and Dale Longworth, have produced a slew of frenetic sample-heavy grooves that
have pushed them to the forefront of the techno craze. After releasing their first
single, "Back to the Bass," in 1991, N-Trance landed a recording contract
with 380 Records. By the time they released "Set You Free," N-Trance
were quickly becoming a dance-club favorite, especially in Scotland where their
singles sold at more than $100 a copy. In 1993, they headed to All Around the
World Records and began scoring weekly spots at local clubs. After AAW re-released
"Set You Free," O'Toole and Longworth became chart-topping producers.
"Turn up the Power," released in 1995 reached No.2 on the British Top
40, paving the way for their debut release, Electronic Pleasure. Happy Hour followed
in 1998
