ABOUT K CI AND JO JO
Breaking out from their multi-platinum-selling core R&B quartet Jodeci, brothers
K-Ci & JoJo Hailey formally became a recording duo in 1996, though their first
performance was with the late rapper 2Pac on his No. 1 single "How Do U Want
It"; later that same year, the North Carolina siblings took the mic again
to record "How Could You," from the Bulletproof soundtrack. In 1997,
K-Ci & JoJo bowed Love Always, their debut album on MCA. The set was met with
the same kind of commercial success that they enjoyed over Jodeci's three-album
career. The duo's velvety ballad "All My Life" shot to No. 15 to No.
1 on Billboard's pop singles chart, a feat rivaled by a similar record-setting
effort by only one other act: the Beatles.
