ABOUT BIC RUNGA
'I remember the first song that I wrote. I remember bringing it to a band and suddenly thinking it wasn't my song anymore. That's when I decided that I wanted to do my own thing.' Sister to Boh (stellar*), Bic is originally from Christchurch but she moved to Auckland at 18 to persue her music. After getting a demo tape together she took it to Sony who liked it so much that they released the first single as is, straight from the demo tape. Bic's highly successful debut album Drive was released in 1997. Her single Sway from that album was also selected for the American Pie movie soundtrack.
