ABOUT ANT AND DEC
Ant and Dec first met on teen soap Byker Grove (Byker, Byker, Byker Grove YEH!!) when they were both in their early teens. Ant played the blind DJ PJ (Short for Peter Jenkins) and Dec played the lovable Duncan. They both became best friends both on and off set. The pair became incredibly popular, with fans chasing their every move. During Byker Grove, PJ and Duncan put together a song, called ‘Tonight I’m Free’ which became so popular, that fans begged them to release it. And so they did. Once Ant and Dec left Byker, they began a career in pop, becoming some of the most famous singers in the 90’s. Releasing songs such as ‘Stuck on u’, ‘Why me?’ and probably their most famous track ‘Lets Get Ready To Rhumble’ which reached number 9 in the charts! With such huge success of their singles, the lads released several albums and went on many tours.
