ABOUT 13 SENSES
Thirteen Senses are from Cornwall, England. Will is from Lands End, likes the
public transport and describes the area as 'a few cliffs'. Will met Adam at Penwith
College in Penzance, where they played together until they met Brendon and Tom
at Camborne College.
The band's sound, described as having a 'rolling landscape feel by Steve Lemacq,
has often been blamed on Will's years of viewing 'nothing but fields' for the
first few years of his life. The band started off practising in Will's barn
using hay bails to put speakers on. The band moved to London in December 2003
and now live together. Before the move they played the 'entire Cornish pub scene'
under the name 'Soul Magician' - this led to them being confused as a soul covers
band!
